The Mobile Media Partnership was created by three individuals who found themselves involved with various projects centered around education and broadcasting.
Paul Fenton is a qualified secondary school teacher who initially transformed a bus into a mobile classroom and began to look at using media as a tool within learning. This was the start of the project itself.

Paul Hurst is a qualified journalist/producer who joined the project from the BBC. Paul’s previous community work on the BBC Radio Manchester bus saw him working all over Greater Manchester on community based projects. He specialises in new media such as podcasting, bloging and photojournalism.

Tony Smith is a qualified youth counsellor who specialises in working alongside schools and community groups to deliver teaching and training across a wide variety of subjects. Tony also pioneered the Wigan Athletic Media Bus which worked in and around the schools and communities of Wigan Borough.

The Mobile Media Partnership now delivers project work in schools and community groups all over the North West of England and aside from developing bespoke media training packages, has also worked hard to partner with reputable broadcast partners such as Preston based, Rock FM.
You can see some of the project work at www.rockbusblog.com and other featured project work will be listed here in the future.
